On October 25, 2016, the 2^nd launch ceremony of ‘Shangshan Charity Broadcast Award’ was held in Beijing. 2016 Beijing Hyundai Beijing Marathon CFLD ‘Run For Charity’ was nominated for ‘Shangshan Charity Broadcast Award’. 60000 yuan raised in charity event of 2016 Beijing Marathon was donated to Beijing Shangshan Public Foundation and this sum of money shall be used for supporting daily charity activities of fighting against depression.

The anti-depression charity program initiated by Beijing Shangshan Public Foundation is aimed at helping more depressed patients with psychological obstacles and broadcasting knowledge about depression prevention and treatment to the public. In 2016 Beijing Marathon, 2000 contestants chose to run as representative of this charity program.

Due to outstanding contributions to charity program of fighting against depression, Organizing Committee of Beijing Marathon was given the title of Charity Partner by Beijing Shangshan. Both parties will cooperate to devote to the development of Mental Health in China.
