1、Race Information

（1）Race Date: Saturday, September 17, 2016

（2）Event: Marathon (42.195 km)

（3）Event Capacity: 30,000 (including 500 places for Charity Entry)

（4）Time：7:30 am

（5）Course Route：

Start point: Tian’anmen Square, Beijing

Finish point: the Celebration Square in central area of Scenic

Boulevard in the Beijing Olympic Park

Course goes through Dongcheng District, Xicheng District, Haidian

District, and Chaoyang District.

2、Registration Information

（1）Registration Period: The entry system will open at 15:00 on Wednesday July 20.

（2）Minimum age requirement: 20 years old

（3）Qualifications:

Elite Runners:

①Run full marathon of any A class race certified by Chinese Athletics Association in 2015 AND ranked top 100 in the age group ( e.g 20 years old – 24 years old). More details about the age group and your ranking please refer to http://www.runchina.org.cn/.

②Successfully completed Beijing Hyundai Beijing Marathon 2015 AND ranked top 100 in the age group ( e.g 20 years old – 24 years old). More details about the age group and your ranking please refer to http://www.runchina.org.cn/.

③Runners who meet the above requirements will be guaranteed to enter the race. However, they should submit their applications and pay registration fee within the registration period. A list of elite runners will be published on Beijing Marathon’s official website.

General Runners：

u  Category A: Complete full marathon within 6 hours between January 1 (including) 2014 and June 27 (including) 2016.

u  Category B: Complete half marathon within 3 hours between January 1(including),2015 and June 27(including),2016

Note: We do not accept any online marathon results.

Register at Website or APP – Agree on clarification – fill in application – make payment – Ballot – selected / not selected – charity entry

3、Other Information

（1）We ask our runners to provide valid and correct information when filling the applications, failure to do so may result in disqualified from the race as we will valid all information

（2）Runners will be punished if uncivil behavior arises. Additional punishment may be initiated by Chinese Athletics Association.
